Black Blazer 3 Ways!

Today I’ve teamed up with my good friend Rebecca from becstobasics to share with you 3 ways to style a blazer! I could literally style this piece for infinity BECAUSE IT’S THAT GOOD! Seriously, if you do not have a good black blazer in your wardrobe, now is the time to start thinking and preparing to buy one.

The blazer I’m styling is a favorite of mine from J. Crew, the Sophie Open Front Sweater Blazer. This is like the best of both worlds. Dressy enough for work and super easy to make casual. The price is a bit of a shock, but let me say that you will get a lot of wear out of this (if it’s something that’s your style). Their sizing goes up to a 3X in most items, which is awesome!

A word on the sizing of this blazer: It runs pretty big. I ordered my regular size (2X) and I really could of gone to the XXL or the XL possibly. If you want it to fit a bit more like a coat, go for your regular size. If you want it to be more of a blazer, get a size down.

And before I bore you to death, one more thing: THEY ARE ON SALE THIS WEEKEND! You can get 40% off your purchase this weekend with code YESPLEASE. Last I checked this $138 blazer was only $75, so get it while it’s on sale!

Overalls & a Button Down

This look is super fun and the blazer just adds a little something to the overalls to dress them up! Paired with the gingham shirt, this look is so cute for casual Friday or a weekend outing.

Sheath Dress

This sheath dress is a work wear classic. You can either pair this with black tights and booties or like I’m wearing, with flats.

Print Pants & Blouse

This outfit is such a fun and easy wear to work option. Add any color blouse and you are ready to go! Plus it’s comfortable! Win win folks!

Now, I need y’all to head over to Rebecca’s blog and check her blog post out! And don’t forget to follow her on Instagram! 😀
